Customisation or a custom build?

With the option for complete customisation, along with a range of façade and styling options, our display homes provide a starting point for your design. We also have a full suite of varied, modern designs to contribute to your planning. If our designs aren’t suitable, then we provide a full custom design from the ground up.

You don’t like the master bedroom where it is, maybe you want to swap home theatres for more office space? Whatever the case may be, our team will refine your design down to the finest detail whether altering a pre-designed home or working from scratch.

Your walk through the display homes will give you inspiration for elements you want while giving our designers the information they need to define your dreams, ready for our building team.

How to get the most from your display home visit

  • Come prepared - See Luxury

As you’re brainstorming your potential home design, jot down some questions and ideas to bring with you to your visit. Check out our display homes on our web page before your visit and take note of what to ask regarding floorplans and customisation options. Don’t forget to take pictures!

  • Plan your budget

Knowing what type of budget you can work with, and helping us understand your budget and aims, is the first step for any big project. It will save you time and effort when visiting our locations by being able to achieve all your needs with the budget you have. Plus, it ensures that we can fulfill your needs in a way which is achievable and desirable for you and your family.

  • Do your homework

Do some internet stalking before your visit. Check out our reviews, building process, vision and completed projects, and formulate any questions to ask based on this.

  • Know the type of home you're after when you visit our display homes

We have options for single-storey display homes and double-storey display homes, along with granny flats. Having a basic understanding of what kind of home you’re after, including the number of bedrooms and other non-negotiables, will allow you to customise the design of the display home and gain a clearer picture of your potential build.

  • Understand upgrades and inclusions

Display homes often have a base price with upgrades reflecting different price options. When you find a home that you like, discuss with our team which upgrades are available along with what is included in the base price.

  • Take land details and measurements with you at our display homes

There is no point in trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and while customisation can achieve mostly anything, it cannot increase the square meterage of your block. By knowing your block measurements, and even the size of your furniture, you will be able to choose the best option from our range of home designs and customise accurately based on your needs.

  • Consider both present and future needs

Are you planning on growing the family? Would you benefit from adding a granny flat onto your block for future rental income? Even if these elements stretch the budget slightly, it is worth adding them to your build so you can plan for both now and into the future. Consider things like how much privacy you will need if you like to entertain or what the needs of your kids will be in a few years’ time.

  • Be clear about what is important to you

Is the flow of the floor plan important to you? Do you prefer wide doorways? Privacy in your window placement? The beauty of building your own home from scratch is that it allows you to refine your needs right down to the specifics. Keep these in mind when strolling through your display home or discussing your needs with our designers.

  • Have questions prepared

Finally, one of the most important things is to have your questions prepared. The last thing we want is for you to get in the car and regret the questions you didn’t ask, photos you didn’t take or notes you forgot to write. We’re more than happy to help, and there is no such thing as a stupid question.
